Committee on Judiciary, Religious Affairs and Endowments, Human Rights, Woman and Children

The duties of the Committee include:

1. That they can call anyone related to their duties.

2. Ensuring the independence of the Judiciary,

3. Processing of Laws related to Judiciary & Judges.

4. Monitoring of community complaints related to Judicial Affairs and the ombudsman’s .

5. Monitoring the Work Activities of the Judicial Service Commission.

6. Monitoring of Prisons and their Management.

7. The Office of the Ombudsman as mentioned in the Constitution and the Federal Law.

8. Fact-finding about human rights abuses.

9. Advising on Transitional Justice Issues. (Transitional Justice) and their apologies for the abuses on: 

10. Human Rights.

11. People with disabilities.

12. Protecting the rights of the child.

13. Protecting the rights of the elderly.

14. Gender issues (male/female).

15. Internally displaced people.

16. Advising and monitoring issues related to Learning & spreading Islam.

17. Advising on activities related to the Administration of Mosques, Hajj & Imara and charitable activities.

18. To submit a written report every two months to the Upper House .

19. Every communication that the Committee makes with any direction of work must be in writing.
