Committtee for Ecconomy, Finanace, commerce,Trade,Industry,Telecommunication and Tourism
The duties of the Committee include:
- That they can call anyone related to their duties.
- Advising and monitoring the country’s trade policy.
- Advising and Planning Industrial Development Policy.
- Observing the Laws for the Protection of Private Rights of Business (Patent rights).
- Monitoring all activities of Financial Institutions the government
- Observing the laws of imported business quality control and industrial production quality (quality control laws).
- Advising on Industrial Policy.
- Advising on Communications Policy.
- Advising on Tourism policy.
- To submit a written report every two months to the Upper House.
- Every communication that the Committee makes with any direction of work related must be in writing.
The Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia represents the Member States of the Federal Government, with powers of legislation, safeguarding the federal system, and overseeing government activities, as stipulated in the Constitution.
