Welcome to the official website of the Senate of the Federal Parliament of Somalia. The Senate is one of the two chambers of the Federal Parliament of Somalia. It is a young chamber, established in late 2016.

The Office of the Secretary General will make every effort to make the work of the Senators and the Senate easier, so they can carry out their duties efficiently. The website also features a platform called “Citizen Engagement,” which allows Senators to interact closely with citizens.

The Senate will carry out its work with respect and responsibility, without losing the trust the Somali people have placed in it.

I believe that Parliament matters to every citizen, and I will always strive to bring the Senate to a higher standard.
