The Speakers of the two chambers of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, held a meeting today at the residence of Speaker Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, and discussed accelerating the process of electing members who will represent Somalia in the East African Community Legislative Assembly (EALA), members who are important in representing the Somali community in the member states of the East African Community.
The two Speakers also discussed accelerating the process of reviewing the Constitution. Both Houses of Parliament have already approved the first four chapters of the Transitional Constitution.
