This committee has regular work with the other Committee of the Constitution of the House of the People. Considering that according to Article 133 of the Interim Constitution, the Committee has:

1) To invite anyone related to their duties

2) Monitors, instructs, and approves the revision of the Review Committee and the implementation of the Constitution and the general practice of the Constitution. ‎

3) Some times the Committee can instruct the Committee for Review and Implementation of the Constitution to write a draft Law based on the the temporary Constitution of the country. ‎

4) Review drafts of amendments to the Constitution or Legislative Proposals and attached reports from the Committee for Review and Implementation of the Constitution. ‎

5) Notifies the public of any proposals.

6) As much as possible, expect that there is enogh time to participate in the public debate.

7) Consultation with members of the public. ‎

8) Ensure that members of the public have adequate opportunities to present their views and opinions to the Joint Commission. ‎

9) Talking to the Parliament of the member states of the Somali Federal and contributing to the writting, thoughts of  the members of the states of federal government of Somalia, such as proposing changes if the matter concerns the interests of the member  states of the Federal Government of Somalia. ‎

10) ‎ Overseeing the implementation of Somalia’s federal principles. ‎

11) Report to the Upper House at least once a month. ‎

12) Carry out any other activities that the temporary Constitution and Federal areas direct. ‎

13) To submit a written report every two months to the Upper House.

14) Every communication that the Committee is making in any direction of work related activities should be in writing.
