- Processing and advising on laws related to their duties and responsibilities.
- Public health.
- National health policy.
- Health care and insurance.
- Primary and secondary education.
- Humanitarian aid including how to manage drought and other disasters.
- Skills training and non-formal education.
- Science & Technology Issues.
- Development of culture.
- Work matters.
- Community Organizations.
- Youth Affairs.
- Sports Matters.
- Information and awareness.
- Media policy.
- National Media (SNTV, Radio Mogadishu and SONNA).
- Copyright and intellectual property rights.
- To submit a written report every two months to the Upper House.
- Every communication that the Committee makes with any direction of work must be in writing.
